|

| It is well known that the Instructor makes the class, and that he or she should have far more experienced than diving with students, with explorations efforts at top of the list. But shouldn't the Instructor have also experience in other fields? He or she must be a certified diver in different areas, for example a tech Instructor will benefit from personal cave training even will not teach it. If a no tech and/or rb diver teaches cave diving, his knowledge will be very limited in what he can teach students at a high level. However even experience divers find difficult to decide the next step on their diving career training Normally divers choose the level of training they wish to operate safely and maybe even have done a bit already. Even they may not be prepared properly for it. Personally I tend to recognize experience far more valuable than certificates, but a diver with no training could be walking on thin ice. In the table below, I hope help you decide what training should be next for you. Start at right and move left from diving activity towards recommended training. Is important to sincerely reflect your diving experience with the prep-requisites and last limitations with your diving environment. If you already have all the cards but are new to DIR or wish to have a review I recommend to apply for custom session to any level. I wish you great fun on your next training session and lots of underwater adventures |

| Training Considerations : Training in English, Spanish, Italian or French Due to inconsistency on diver training applicant divers most secure approval prior attending training. Tech 2-3 certifications by no cave diver Instructors and/or Cave 2-3 certifications by no tech/rb divers Instructors will not be recognized, unless extra days to secure shortcomings are planned Experience Trimix Divers and Wreck divers or Instructors could apply for a Cave 2 class, only if accepting to be certified to level achieved in training time frame. Notice we don't do single deco tech diving beyond Hiperoxic trimix, choose no to push the depth limits on ocean dives, prefer to do long range dives only in cave like environments, and always use scooters on deco dives. We discourage the use of thirds in 2 people teams on the overhead environment, specially with half full tanks at cave 1/ Intro to cave level. We recommend to cave dive always with a stage bottle and never swim with more than 2 stages, or scooter with more than 3-4 bottles and/or 2-3 scooters.
