It's been quite a busy summer in Oliero Survey Project despite the fact
conditions are been far from ideal with viz in the 3-6mt range and flow ranging
to even a flood that cancel a weekend attempt.

However the team is getting very efficient with the procedures for Veci,
moving large amount of equipment both in surface and specially inside the
water. Furthermore we have 2 official OSP team members, Melo and Simone,
which been assisting most projects and quietly mentor in the numerous
visiting divers joining OSP projects. Actually we have try mechanic tray
through the south side and boat through the north side, the best is to set up
one day before the north side.

This summer the OSP was able to laid and survey to 1km of the Veci main
tunnel, bringing the Oliero cave system survey to roughly 50% in about 6
months. We find the small Veci map (750mt ) from Oliver Isler is as usual very
accurate. On the way back from last dive we spot a couple leads, which will
be checked for in the following projects, is reflected in the survey which now
helps a lot in future dive planning.

In addition to the survey we been playing with different scenarios in deco,
simulating limited reserve gas emergencies, as beyond sump 1 supply will be
limited. Simultaneously evaluating electric heating during whole dive vs only
at deco. As usual Fenu keeps scaring the team.......
m,

As example In last dive a normal deco software at factor 80/20 was asking for
a few more hrs of deco.....OSP Profiles accommodate the latest on long range
decompression theory, to the average diver could  been tought rather
aggressive in comparison, specially for the cold water (8-9°C).
Anyway we are in shape and did the full test as also we haul all the gear out
by dolly-car as the "Celtic Festival" was going on, so obviously preventing the
entrance of vehicles in the park.
