Team Positions & responsibilities
Surface manager
- First one on site
- Information and dive plan delivery to teams
- Controls diving sequence
- Fills dive log, (each team leader must report dive)
Safety Divers – Deco Station (6mt)
- Place Primary reel
- Place O2 bottles
- Place heating batteries when needed
- Place habitat when needed
- Monitor O2 decoing divers
- Retrieve gas divers, scooter and empties stages
- Survey when needed
Support Divers – Station 1 (21mt)
- Place 21 mt bottles
- Place heating batteries when needed
- Retrieve Deep Support Divers (DSD) and Rb teams scooters and empties stages
- Survey when needed
Gas Divers – Station 2 (60mt)
- Place DSD/Rb scooters at 36 mt
- Place 60mt deco bottles (station 2)
- Survey when needed
- Escort video team when applicable
Deep Support Divers (75mt)
- Stage 75mt bottles at station 3
- Retrieve empties from 60mt
- Retrieve scooter from 60 mts

LIGHTS
- Primary light : 18W/21W HID minimum
- 4 hrs min. burnitme for safety divers, 6hrsmin burntime for support divers minimum
- The bulb has to fit the Halcyon Goodman handle and be focousable and NON blinding
- E/O cord
- Burntested, the burntest has to be visible to the user
- ON position in front
- Indipendent heating system is preferrable- In any case the diver should NOT use the
heating system during the dive and has to be disconnected from the drysuit during the dive.
SCOOTERS (ADV OSP special production only)
- Min 2Hrs/3hrs Burntime – refer to the job
- Burntested
- Name on it
- Tow leash in proper position (see photo)
- Adjustable leash prefferred (see photo)
- Gavins allowed for support diving: max operational depth 50mt (station 2)
- Must be neutral at 50 mts
- All Gavins divers have to demonstrate once how to manage a runaway situation

MISCELLANEOUS

- No pull-away (bungee attachments to bolt snaps)
- Halcyon metal inflators must be replaced before they start failing
- Stage regs must have a bolt snap and should be left attached for clean up teams
- For Deco, negative battery pack is desirable against drop weight + neutral pack
(14 amps minimum)
- For use during dive, must be a neutral battery pack rig and tow as a scooter (30 amps
minimum)
- All heating plugs must accept EO connectors
- Light heads must accept EO cords
