flow minimal to mild on rain season
water temp 13-15°C
air temp -10 to +30°C
humidity 40%
Viz 20+mt could reduce to zero on rainfall,
thermoclines, tannic acid, algae bloom on hot
days.
Av. Depth 15-30mt max 80mt.
Access medium with some ladder or light
hiking required
Sites infrastructure good road. No toilets or
tables or anything, pretty much still wild
Where ?
Lot is a department South west of France,
Quercy Karst area. Closest big city is Cahors.
Main airport Toulouse. Paris is 5.5hr away

Excellent first exposure to mild cold water
cave diving.

How ?
We start visiting the area in 2001 and taught
the first DIR GUE cave 1 courses in France,
this our 12th season we will been to the Lot
area.
Various accommodation possibilities to all
budgets available,
however we usually rent a 3-4 bedroom private
house with large garage, kitchen, pool and all
amenities.
