Valstagna Cave Flooding
When a water filled cave drainage is active is refer as cave
flow, however when the flow is significantly increased by
the pressure of water weight pushing thru the conduct is
refered as a flood. (Piena)
You must understand the cave area terrain and expected
water draining cycles specially on rainy days, and/or with
Alpine or high mountain snow melts.
The cave can go from clear water no flow to undiveable in
less than an afternoon !
A major issue in long deco dives.
